Some tasty pool this week and some strong performances from teams and players:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Premier League 🏆:
🎱 Egham Con Club vs Egham & Hythe C – A strong start from Charlie, who was “Peerless” in the opener against League Singles Champion Joe, set the tone for Egham Hythe C. A dominant performance saw them cruise to a 9-3 victory, leaving Egham Cons bottom of the table with two losses from two.
🎱 Staines Cons vs WR Sports A – With both captains sitting out, it was down to the big guns. Jaff Singh’s return gave Staines a boost, but WR Sports A turned the tide, edging a 7-5 win. Star of the night? Tom Howick, who delivered a break & dish in his first frame. WR Sports remain unbeaten and move to the top of the league.
🎱 Three Tuns A vs Bagster House – Three Tuns bounced back from last week’s defeat with a strong 8-4 win. Previously unbeaten Steve, Vernon, and Charlie struggled against a top Tuns side. Two dishes in this match: Mark Sutton reverse dished Matty Jennings, and Vernon Asra reverse dished Leighton Cumber. Solid response from Three Tuns and moving them off the bottom.
