Week 3 over, some brilliant results and some early title contenders, relagation favourites, although plenty of pool and games still to play....

Premier League 🏆:

🎱 Egham & Hythe C vs Bagster House – Bagster House boasts a strong squad but remains in the relegation zone after three matches. Egham & Hythe C edged a 7-5 victory, with Jason Willerby named Star of the Night, winning both his games against Steven Aitken and Charlie Pinfield. Pinfield produced a reverse dish in the final frame to round off the match and gain a bonus point.

🎱 Staines Cons vs Three Tuns A – A battle between two top contenders saw Three Tuns A claim a 7-5 win, drawing level with Staines Cons in the standings. Martin Court took the early win over Jaff Singh, but Singh got his revenge in the return fixture. James “Jungle” McCarthy continued his unbeaten streak, securing three wins on the night and extending his season record to 5 from 5. Both teams remain in the title race, chasing down WR Sports A.

🎱 WR Sports A vs Egham Con Club – WR Sports A remain unbeaten with a dominant 10-2 win, while Egham Con Club stay winless and look in danger of relegation. Only Mark Court (losing to Joe Sims) and Dan “Captano” Reily (losing to Daryl Sims) dropped frames for WR. Dan Pallet, having secured his spot in the team that night after a playoff win over Freddie Morrison, delivered two wins from two. Egham Con Club need to turn things around quickly to avoid the drop. Paul Morrison getting his side a bonus point with a break dish against Danny Sims.

Division 1 🏆🏆:

🎱 Egham Hythe A vs Egham Hythe F – Egham Hythe A, early title favourites, continued their strong start with three wins from three, defeating club rivals Egham Hythe F, 8-4. Last season’s Division 1 champions, Egham Hythe F, are struggling and now sit in the relegation zone.

🎱 London Stone vs Sunbury Con Club – London Stone couldn’t build on last week’s win but salvaged a 6-6 draw against promotion contenders Sunbury Con Club. Ray Cartwright was Star of the Night, winning both his matches, including the deciding frame.

🎱 White Lion vs Egham Hythe E – White Lion responded in emphatic fashion with an 11-1 victory over Egham Hythe E, who remain winless and in deep trouble. Geoff James is proving unstoppable, extending his record to 7 wins from 7, leading the Division 1 player rankings. Tough night for Egham Hythe E, with the league’s very own Mr. Capaldi, Lawrence, securing their only frame.

Division 2 🏆🏆🏆:

🎱 Ashford Community vs WR Sports B – A family showdown saw Jason Brown take the first frame against Robin Brown, but Robin got his revenge in the return fixture, helping WR Sports B to a 7-5 win and bragging rights.

🎱 Egham Hythe B vs Virginia Water – Virginia Water remain bottom of the table after three matches, still searching for a first win. Jimmy Cassidy led Egham Hythe B to a 7-5 victory, lifting them into second place. The match was finely poised at 5-5 before Peter Kemp and Cassidy sealed the final two frames.

🎱 Three Tuns B vs Egham Hythe D – Three Tuns B claimed an 8-4 victory, putting them top of the table after three matches. Egham Hythe D remain winless. Three Tuns B started strong, winning the first three frames, before Pete Atkins halted their momentum. However, they regained control, taking five of the last seven frames.

Leading Players 🏅:

🏅 Premier League – Tom Howick leads the stats, but Paul Morrison is close behind. James “Jungle” McCarthy stays in the mix with 5 wins from 5, setting up a tight race after 3 matches.

🏅 Division 1 – Geoff James remains flawless with 7 wins from 7, topping the standings. Darren Fuller drops a frame but stays in second, tied with Martin Hyman, who could emerge as a serious challenger. Neil Taylor-Pullen moves up to third and is another contender for Leading Player. With plenty of games left, this race is wide open.

🏅 Division 2 – Tim Guichard tops the rankings after 2 wins from 2 this week. Alex James follows closely in second, with Steve Moxom & Tom Williams tied in third. Division 2 is too close to call, with multiple players in contention.

🔥 Premier Division Dishes – Paul Morrison and Charlie Pinfield recorded the only two dishes this week. Morrison dished against Danny Sims, while Pinfield pulled off a reverse dish in the final frame against Alan Wittekind.

Who will be the first player in Division 1 or 2 to notch a break or reverse dish?
