This week will see the start of the EPL Cup Group Stages with a new match format! Several teams will fancy their chances to win trophies this year, who will step up and take the prizes?

 

Will we see any Cup shocks? Let the games commence! Good luck to all teams!

 

Teams format:  

🎯 5 Singles  3 Scotch Doubles  5 Singles  
🏅 Win the match and earn an extra 2 points! 

 

What’s at Stake?: 

🥇 Martin James Cup: Top 8 teams qualify!

🥈 League Cup: The next best 8 teams

🥉 Plate Cup: Quarterfinal losers from both cups get a second shot at victory in the Plate Cup!  

🥄 Wooden Spoon Final: Bottom 2 teams face off in a two-legged Wooden Spoon match!

🏆 Group A:

Egham & Hythe C vs Three Tuns B (PL vs D2)

Three Tuns A vs Egham & Hythe D (PL vs D2)

Sunbury Con Club vs White Lion (D1 vs D1)

 

This Group consists of:

 

🎱 Three Tuns A: Premier League side and last year’s Martin James Cup winners.

🎱 Three Tuns B: Division 2 side and last year’s Wooden Spoon Winners.

🎱 Egham & Hythe C: Premier League side who came Runners Up in last year’s Team Plate.

🎱 Egham Hythe D: Division 2 side currently fighting for promotion who will look to get their name on a Cup this year.

🎱 Sunbury Con Club: Division 1 side who are currently looking to gain promotion back into the Premier League and will want their name on a Cup this year.

🎱 White Lion: Division 1 side who came Runners Up in last years League Cup.

Staines Con Club vs Ashford Community (PL vs D2)

Egham Con Club vs Virgina Water RBL (PL vs D2)

Egham & Hythe A vs London Stone (D1) (D1 vs D1)

 

🎱 Staines Con Club: Premier League side who will have one eye on the Martin James Cup.

🎱 Ashford Community: Division 2 side who were Runners Up in last year Wooden Spoon.

🎱 Egham Con Club: Premier League side currently without a win in the league but will look to gain confidence and fight for a Cup this year.

🎱 Virgina Water RBL: Division 2 side without a win in the league that will look to fight for a trophy in the Cup and take some confidence back into the league.

🎱 London Stone: Division 1 side who have the team to compete for a Cup this year.   

🎱 Egham & Hythe A: Division 1 side currently top and looking to cement their place back in the Premier League whilst they also fight for a Cup.

🎱 Bagster House: Premier League side and last year’s Team Plate Winners.

🎱 WR Sports B: Division 2 side who will look to get one over their A team and bring home a trophy this year.

🎱 WR Sports A: Premier League side who were Premier League Winners and Martin James Cup Runners Up last year.

🎱 Egham & Hythe E: Division 1 side currently bottom of the league and looking to build confidence to take back to the league whilst having one eye on a cup.

🎱 Egham & Hythe B: Division 2 side leading the Division and will look to win a Cup this year.

🎱 Egham & Hythe F:  Division 1 side and last year’s League Cup Winners and Division 1 winners.

🏆 EPL Doubles Cup 🏆 

 

Reminder the EPL Doubles Competition is now open for entry.

 

Details of the event can be found below:  

 

💷 Entry: £5 per player (£10 per team) 

🏆 Format: Scotch Doubles, Black Ball Rules   

🎁 Prize: Dependent on the number of entries – prize breakdown shared after funds are collected and the draw is complete. 

📅 Structure: Mini groups followed by knockout rounds, with the final played on Finals Day. 

 Rules: Players may only confer before a player addresses the table. No talking is allowed once a player has addressed the table until the visit has ended. In the event of talking during the visit, a foul will be awarded.
